What You Need To Watch this October

Fall is really here and a lot of movies and TV shows come out this time of year. It’s a great time to release Oscar candidates and a lot of streaming services load up on horror movies. Here is what you should be watching this October.

TV

Loki Season 2 (October 5 Disney+) - They moved up the release date by 1 day. Hopefully that’s a good sign. This seasons sees Loki working with Mobius M. Mobius, Hunter B-15, and other members of the Time Variance Authority to navigate the multiverse in order to find Sylvie, Ravonna Renslayer, and Miss Minutes.

Frasier (October 12 Paramount +) - Not much info out there other than Frasier returns to Boston. Hope that means some Cheers reunions.

Shoresy Season 2 (October 27 Hulu) Only 6 episodes but they are packing in guest stars such as Frederick Roy (son of Hall of Fame goalie Patrick Roy), international pop star Rêve, Catherine St-Laurent (Tu Dors Nicole), and Jordana Lajoie (The Boys). Guest stars include Scott Thompson, Jonathan Torrens, Jacob Tierney, Camille Sullivan, Eliana Jones, Kim Cloutier, Michala Brasseur, as well as social media star and podcaster Lysandre Nadeau.

(October 6) Following the brutal murder of a young real estate agent, a hardened detective attempts to uncover the truth in a case where nothing is as it seems, and by doing so dismantles the illusions in his own life. All-star cast includes Justin Timberlake, Frances Fisher, T, Alicia Silverstone, Eric Bogosian, Rachel Smith, Benicio Del Toro, Michael Pitt

Killers of the Flower Moon
(October 20) This is the movie we’re most excited about this month. Directed by Martin Scorcese, set in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the Reign of Terror. Another all-star cast including some of the best Native American actors working today.
