What We’re Looking Forward to in March

We hope you did not give up TV and Movies for Lent because March has some great things in store! Here is what we are looking forward to!

TV

Mandalorian Season 3 (Disney+ March 1) – Pedro Pascal guides a magical child to safety. Again. We are super excited to see where this story is headed. After last season we hope for more high-profile guest stars from the Star Wars universe. If you didn’t watch Book of Boba Fett go watch episodes 5,6, and 7.

History of the World Part II (Hulu March 6) – Finally, the follow up to the Mel Brooks hit movie from 1981! This is actually going to be a series with at least 8 episodes. Lots of names you know have been dropped as appearing in the show. It should be good.

Icons Unearthed: Marvel (Vice March 7) - This series has done in depth looks at The Simpsons and Star Wars. Now they are looking at Marvel and it’s history. If you’re a comic book or MCU fan then you will want to watch.

Gotham Knights (CW 3/14) - DC property where Batman’s adopted son teams of with the children of Batman’s enemies to solve the mystery of Bruce Wayne’s murder.

Ted Lasso (AppleTV+ 3/15) - I’ll be honest. I’ve cheaped out on springing for yet another streaming service. However, Ted Lasso is our most requested trivia so look for a trivia kit soon after season 3 ends.

Lucky Hank (AMC 3/19) – Very curious about this show. It stars Bob Odenkirk of Better Call Saul fame as a professor and head of the English department in a second tier liberal arts college. I read the book the series is based on so I know not to expect a BCS-like series. It’s also being produced by Paul Lieberstein of The Office and directed by Peter Farrelly so I do expect the show to be funny.

MOVIES

65 (3/10) – Adam Driver is space pilot who crash lands on Earth 65 million years in the past. Can his tech help him survive on a pre-historic plant? Looks fun and it’s written by the team that wrote A Quiet Place

Shazam! Fury of the Gods (3/17) – The sequel to the superhero saga of Billy Batson.

John Wick Chapter 4 (3/24) – Have you seen the previous 3 movies? Expect the same.

Tetris (3/31 AppleTV+) – Tetris was one of the most addictive video games. Here is the crazy true story of how that came to be.

TRIVIA KITS

Easter/April Trivia – We test your knowledge of all things Easter and other event related to the month of April.

TV Cops – From the 70s through today, we test your knowledge of TV detective, cops, and cop shows.
