Used Cars (1980) This is comedy that used to be on cable a lot in the 80s and 90s but is rarely seen today, and that’s a shame. It was written by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, who would later go on to give us hits like Back to the Future. It stars Kurt Russel as slick car salesman Rudy Russo, who must save the car lot he works at from falling in to the hands of his boss’s rival brother (Both brothers played by Jack Warden). Everything that can go wrong does in a spectacularly hilarious way. Prior to this movie Kurt Russel was most known for Disney movies. This movie launched his film career as an adult.
